Christmas Day!

Well, let’s start with Christmas Eve.  I spent most of the day cleaning up Lizzie’s stubborn streak in the form of potty accidents and cooking.  Don’t worry- lots of hand washing was had.  I’ll be honest, I am not exactly thrilled about her resistance, but look at her.  Sigh.

We started a Tex-Mex tradition last year with fajitas and tamales, which we kept up this year. So yummy , as Lizzie says.  We hurried to our Christmas Eve service with our church family and enjoyed caroling as a body and then dessert.  When we came home, Nana and Papa came over to read the Christmas story and drink egg nog that Nana makes.  SO YUMMY.

I guess when I found the girls matching dresses at a consignment shop for $10 total, I forgot Luke would need something special, too.  Oops.

This morning, the kids woke up after 7am, Nana and Papa came by at 7:30, then we did stockings, breakfast, and presents.  Very fun!

Merry Christmas, y’all!
