Catching Up on Christmas

So, 3 kids isn’t hard, but it’s definitely busy.  By the time I actually have time to blog, I know I should work or do something productive around the house…or I sit kind of comatose, thinking but not doing any of those things.  Sigh.  Oh well, she’s so darn cute and smart and naughty, it’s totally worth it all.  So, here are a few Christmas pics I never got around to posting.  Josh’s parents and his younger sister blessed us with a visit, and we had a wonderful time.

Christmas Eve

I can’t tell you how much easier and faster dipping marshmallows is than cake pops! A big hit with the kids for sure!

Christmas Day

For the first time, Lizzie seemed excited about presents.

Our Christmas gift to ourselves- a new basement!

Such a fun time!

Hey Emily, first I LOVE your basement. Studied it and marveled. Great job!!!! I look at these pics of the kids and soak up their adorable looks, wonder about their little personalities and smile thinking about all God has done in you…..”3 kids isn’t hard, but very busy.” You are the awesome mom I always thought you were. Love that you are enjoying the role of motherhood like this. Best job I’ve ever had. :)

It was so much fun to share Christmas with you all. We loved everything about being there except the stomach bug!! The house looks great, the weather was perfect, giving us our first white Christmas in many years. All the Christmas food crafts were fun. Can’t wait to move near you later this year! The children are growing up so fast. We’re so proud of the great job you’re doing.

  3. Miss Mommy says:

Carrie- you are so sweet- I do the same thing when I see pics of your kids- marvel at their growth and the stage of life that has passed and a new one that has begun- wow! You were such an integral part of me surviving those first 2 years…I needed you so much and am so, so glad the Lord saw fit to bless me with you and your mentorship.
