Luke’s 1st Day of Preschool {& Kids’ Stats!}

Luke had his first day of preschool today at Southside Christian School!

I’m not proud of his outfit, but he so excitedly picked it out himself, I didn’t have the heart to say no.

His teacher is Mrs. Hoiland- she was energetic and very sweet!

Since he was in afternoon nursery last year, it really wasn’t a big adjustment, except for a new school and all that.  Unfortunately from changing schools back and forth, we missed out on some crucial information, so I didn’t realize it was a parent meeting and a short day for the fist day!  Thus, poor Lizzie missed her nap and then we headed to the doctor for the girls to get their check-ups and shots.  The girls were not as brave as Luke was for his shot.  {Maybe because he got 1, Lizzie got 2, and Rebekah got 3!  Nothing like getting caught up on immunizations!}

Rebekah

  • 4 9lbs: 75th%
  • 47 3/4in : 90th%

Luke

  • 34.5lbs: 25th%
  • 39.5in: 25th%

Lizzie

  • 16lbs 13.5 oz: 10th%
  • 28 3/4 in: 75th%  (!!!!!!!)

I’m not sure when Lizzie stretched out, but evidently she did! Lizzie also has a strange female situation, so if you’re interested (or have a baby girl), email me and I’ll tell you about it.  Doesn’t seem appropriate on the blog.  She is okay, of course.  She is also cutting her top 4 teeth and being pretty sweet about it, honestly.  Such a good girl.

Back to Rebekah- she had a great first day!  She lost her top tooth and got to bring it home in a cool tooth box.  She loves her teacher, is making friends, and is happy to get to stay at Wilson.

    Good to see the doctor and get caught up on all those shots. Hope they don”t need more for a long time. Sounds like Luke will settle into preschool just fine. Hope today is a good one.

    Such a good report! I’m glad that school has started and you now know for sure where both are going! Great to have teachers they love! Yes, it’s harder when your children start dressing themselves but a natural part of their growing up. I am looking forward to heading to Spokane a week from today!!

    Cute! I love that you let him wear what he picked out. I’m learning to do the same with Caroline. Most days the outfits are actually cute other days….not so much.
